
Belinda Barrett, PT, DPT, DMI
Founder, Co-Owner
With over 14 years of pediatric experience working in a variety of settings, Belinda is passionate in partnering with families to treat children using a holistic, fun, and effective approach.
Belinda graduated from New Mexico State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and an Associate in Business Management. In 2010, Belinda graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Following graduation, Belinda immediately focused her practice in pediatrics and has experience working in pediatric neuro rehabilitation, in early intervention programs, within the school setting, in home health, and most extensively in outpatient pediatrics.

Belinda has an extensive background in continuing education including courses on sensory integration, hypotonia, vestibular rehab, torticollis, orthotic management and bracing, neurodevelopment technique (NDT), gait mechanics, intensive therapy, electrical stimulation and yoga for the pediatric population. In late 2021, Belinda took her first course in Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) and fell in love with the sound principals of this treatment method and effectiveness she has seen in working with her own patients.

Belinda has a strong passion for children and working with their families to meet the unique needs of both. Therapy is centered on goals specific to each child using fun and challenging techniques to promote positive changes.

Belinda, her husband, and three kids moved to Katy, Texas from Anchorage, Alaska in 2022 and have loved the warmer weather and community. In her spare time, Belinda enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, hiking, camping, biking, golfing, and running.

Kristen Wermager, PT, DPT
Co-Owner
Kristen is a pediatric physical therapist with 11 years of experience providing
treatment in the outpatient setting. Kristen graduated from Colorado State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine and a Minor in Biomedical Sciences. Kristen then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado in 2013. In her last year of PT school, Kristen completed a rotation at Alaska Pediatric Therapy in Anchorage, Alaska where she fell in love with treating the pediatric population. Following graduation, Kristen moved back to her home state of Alaska to begin her post-graduate career choosing to specialize in outpatient pediatrics.

In addition to her clinical experience, Kristen has completed training in infant handling with neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), perception action theory and techniques, kinesiotaping, aquatic therapy, orthotic management and serial casting, clinical management of toe-walking, torticollis and plagiocephaly, MNRI and reflex integration, functional electrical stimulation (FES) and many others.

Kristen has always been passionate about working with children and enjoys making treatment sessions fun and creative. Every child is unique and she enjoys collaborating with families to help each of her patients reach their full potential.
While Kristen is originally from Anchorage, Alaska, she also spent time living in Scotland and Dubai, UAE. Having grown up traveling, Kristen enjoys adventuring to new countries and experiencing other cultures. Kristen also has a love for the outdoors and enjoys spending time hiking and camping with her husband and two daughters. Kristen also enjoys running, yoga, baking and spending time with friends and family. In 2020, Kristen and her family moved from Alaska to Texas and have slowly adjusted to change in temperature and scenery. Having been raised by two Aggies, Kristen is no stranger to Texas culture and enjoys living in the Lone Star State.
